RESUMEN

Fue analizada además la pertinencia del hospital universitario, su responsabilidad en la formación de especialidades médicas dentro del postgrado académico en salud. Se identificaron inconsistencias teóricas y empíricas que mostraron insuficiencias en la evaluación de impacto del desempeño docente en las especialidades médicas y su influencia en la calidad de los procesos del postgrado en los hospitales universitarios. Por lo que se plantea como objetivo de la investigación: desarrollar una metodología, sustentada en un modelo teórico de evaluación del impacto del desempeño docente en las especialidades de postgrado de los hospitales universitarios.

IMPACT ASSESSMENT ON TEACHING PERFORMANCE OF MEDICAL SPECIALTIES IN UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS

ABSTRACT
Impact measurement processes of postgraduate training represent a constant and necessary area of research. This work addresses scientific production in this field from the analysis of articles and books, most of them indexed in the Scielo database, as well as the guidelines and resolutions governing its development in Cuba. Systematization was also carried out with the aim of finding research on topics of impact measurement in academic postgraduate health, to this end, the origins of the use of the term evaluation impact on educational processes as well as training programs were sought, assessing the resulting effects. It was also analyzed the relevance of the university hospital, its responsibility in the training of medical specialties within the academic postgraduate degree in health. Theoretical and empirical inconsistencies were identified that showed weaknesses in the assessment of the impact of teaching performance on medical specialties and their influence on the quality of postgraduate processes in university hospitals. So it is proposed as the objective of research: to develop a methodology, based on a theoretical model assessment of the impact of teaching performance on graduate specialties in university hospitals. Advanced education can be all the more remarkable if the teaching training of professionals is perceived with notoriety in hospital institutions, therefore, a specialization in teaching is required as one of the hallmarks of a university hospital.
