EVOLUCIÓMETRO: POR UNA RADIO SIN EXPRESIONES DE VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO

RESUMEN

La historia de la Comunicación ha reconocido siempre al discurso radiofónico como trascendental en la divulgación de saberes, cambio de actitudes y apoyo para transformar la realidad social por su don de la ubicuidad. Por ello, resulta esencial  través de los recursos sonoros deslegitimar toda expresión de violencia de género. Dicha aspiración motivó a confeccionar una herramienta didáctica que posibilita a los colectivos radiales cubanos identificar de manera sencilla cualquier manifestación que afecte a un individuo o grupos y que, al formar parte de las representaciones sociales de género del público interno de esos medios de comunicación, se legitiman en el discurso consumido por las audiencias. La propuesta es resultado del curso “Violencias contra las mujeres y radios por la no violencia”, el Centro Oscar Arnulfo Romero junto a su Articulación Juvenil por la equidad social, y que contó con el acompañamiento teórico metodológico de la asociación Radialistas apasionadas y apasionados, de Quito, Ecuador. Surgió tras el análisis del discurso radial desde diferentes geografías del país y la realización de entrevistas a personas expertas sobre el tema y encuestas. Los más de 30 comunicadores asistentes al curso evaluaron la herramienta a utilizarse desde una variedad de soportes y canales.

ABSTRACT

The history of Communication has always recognized radio discourse as transcendental in the dissemination of knowledge, change of attitudes and support to transform social reality due to its gift of ubiquity. It influences the formation of values ​​and behavior patterns related to the notions about femininity, masculinity and other concepts associated with gender, in unison that fulfills its function of educating, informing and entertaining, both in the processes of news production and construction. of meanings for audiences. Therefore, it is essential to delegitimize any expression of gender violence through sound resources. This aspiration led to the creation of a didactic tool that enables Cuban radio groups to easily identify any manifestation of aggression that affects an individual or groups and that is part of the social representations of gender of the internal public of these media. legitimize in the discourse consumed by audiences. The proposal is the result of the course Violence’s against women and radio stations x non-violence, convened by Cuban and international non-governmental organizations, as well as the theoretical and methodological support of the passionate and passionate Radialists association, Quito, Ecuador. It arose after the analysis of radio discourse from different geographies of the country and conducting interviews with experts on the subject and surveys. The more than 30 communicators attending the course evaluated the tool to be used from a variety of media and channels.
