RESUMEN
El trabajo con la Orientación Profesional Pedagógica constituye una de las prioridades más urgentes de la educación cubana de hoy; sin embargo, mediante la observación efectuada en la práctica educativa sistemática realizada en el centro mixto “Forjadores del futuro”, la autora pudo constatar que existen deficiencias por parte de los estudiantes con respecto a su preparación para la continuidad de estudios hacia las carreras pedagógicas, apreciándose en la caracterización del estado inicial. El estudio en esta etapa, se realizó a través del empleo de métodos del nivel teórico, métodos del nivel empírico, el método Matemático-Estadístico y técnicas psicopedagógicas. Esto posibilitó desde una óptica dialéctica-materialista proponer un programa para la Orientación Profesional Pedagógica (OPP) a estudiantes de Secundaria Básica, el cual se efectuó desde la tutoría a estudiantes. El programa consta de una estructura y posee una temática con siete acciones, que parten de las diferentes vías de OPP. Su aplicación tuvo buena aceptación entre los estudiantes, obteniéndose con esto que los tres indicadores propuestos por la variable aumentaran considerablemente, y a su vez nuevas incorporaciones de estudiantes para su continuidad de estudios hacia las carreras pedagógicas en la provincia de Artemisa.

ABSTRACT
The work with the Pedagogic Professional Orientation constitutes one of the most urgent priorities in today's Cuban education, however by means of the observation made in the systematic educational practice carried out in the mixed center “Forgers of the future”, the author could verify that deficiencies exist on the part of the students respect with her preparation for the continuity of studies toward the pedagogic careers, being appreciated in the characterization of the initial state. The study in the stage was carried out inclination of the employment of a series of methods of the theoretical level, methods of empiric level, mathematical-statistical method and techniques. All that which facilitated from a dialectical-materialistic optics to propose an orientation program for the Pedagogic Professional Orientation to students. Its application was well accepted by students, with this obtaining that the three indicators proposed by the variable will increase considerably and in turn new incorporations of students for their continuity of studies towards pedagogical careers in the province of Artemisa.
