REPRODUCCIÓN CULTURAL Y PROCESOS DE TRANSMISIÓN, EL LEGADO VIGENTE EN LA SOCIOLOGÍA DE LA EDUCACIÓN DESDE LA MIRADA LATINOAMERICANA

RESUMEN

Las teorías de la reproducción en la sociología de la educación, ha significado con el transcurrir de los años un factor que ha estado presente en los aspectos característicos de la sociedad latinoamericana y porque no decirlo de todo el mundo, llegando a ser un factor que comparado con otras teorías de la sociología educativa como la pedagogía critica, entre otras, han resultado ser un elemento de estudio en este periodo contemporáneo; y es que precisamente desde la sociología de la educación y los postulados que se tienen de las teorías de la reproducción. Dentro de las teorías de reproducción que hoy en día se destacan por tener factores característicos vigentes en el comportamiento y dinamismo de múltiples entornos, es relevante considerar dos puntos de vista muy distintivos de la actualidad del contexto latinoamericano, como es el caso de las teorías del francés Bourdieu y el inglés Bernstein, para lo cual desde este documento se presenta un panorama de la realidad latinoamericana versus los aportes de estos dos grandes de la sociología de la educación. Por último, se genera un escenario en el cual se presenta un conjunto de reflexiones construidas desde el análisis de los sistemas educativos latinoamericanos de cara a la realidad social que el contexto latino presenta, considerando la heterogeneidad que esta sociedad presenta luego de evidenciar grandes brechas desde la igualdad educativa, la calidad y la pertinencia de políticas y acciones públicas evidenciando una marcada desigualdad social.

CULTURAL REPRODUCTION AND TRANSMISSION PROCESSES, THE LEGACY IN FORCE IN THE SOCIOLOGY OF EDUCATION FROM THE LATIN AMERICAN PERSPECTIVE

ABSTRACT

Theories of reproduction in the sociology of education, has meant over the years a factor that has been present in the characteristic aspects of Latin American society and because not to say it from all over the world, becomes a factor that compared to other theories of educational sociology such as critical pedagogy, among others , have proved to be an element of study in this contemporary period; and is that precisely from the sociology of education and the postulates that you have of the theories of reproduction. Within the theories of reproduction that today stand out for having characteristic factors in force in the behavior and dynamism of multiple environments, it is important to consider two very distinctive views of the current Latin American context, as is the case with the theories of French Bourdieu and English Bernstein, for which from this document is presented an overview of Latin American reality versus the contributions of these two greats of the sociology of Education. Finally, a scenario is generated in which a set of reflections is presented built from the analysis of Latin American educational systems in view of the social reality that the Latin context presents, considering the heterogeneity that this society presents after highlighting large gaps from educational equality, quality and the relevance of public policies and actions showing a marked social inequality.
