CIRCLE OF INTEREST AS A WAY TO EDUCATE PATRIOTISM IN FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS
ABSTRACT
In Cuba education and training in values is the result of a tradition, of those who in the past bequeathed us their personal example, their revolutionary concerns and, above all, the sense of justice, humanity, freedom, for what is of great importance educate patriotism in students to face and maintain the achievements of the Revolution, taking into account the experiential aspect. However, after applying several instruments in the initial stage, it was found that there are difficulties in the fifth grade students of the José Ramón López Tabranes Mixed Center of the municipality of Bahía Honda in terms of the low motivation for patronage extradocentes activities; poor protagonism in patriotic activities; poor domain of historical events linked to national history. For such reasons the objective of the research is to propose a circle of interest that educates these students in the value of patriotism. Throughout the investigative process different methods are used: as the theoretical, empirical and statistical-mathematical. The activities proposed in its structure have title, objective, methods, procedures, methodological guidelines and evaluation; They are characterized by being varied, interesting and creative, educating the proposed value, thus achieving that they are able to defend and love their country according to the education they have received.
