ACCIONES PARA FAVORECER LA PERMANENCIA DE LOS ESTUDIANTES INSCRITOS EN LA CARRERA DE CONTABILIDAD DEL CENTRO UNIVERSITARIO JESÚS MENÉNDEZ

RESUMEN

La investigación fue desarrollada en el Centro Universitario Municipal de Jesús Menéndez, teniendo en cuenta las matrículas de estudiantes en los diferentes cursos de la carrera de Contabilidad y Finanzas y la alta prevalencia de bajas en diferentes años desde el inicio en el 2003 de la carrera. Las causas que han determinado la situación problémica objeto de la investigación, determinada a través de los diferentes instrumentos ejecutados, las encuestas a estudiantes, la observación y otros métodos utilizados, así como los criterios personales de los autores, referente a la temática tratada, han posibilitado abordar y dar tratamiento a un problema que ha afectado no solo a la carrera de Contabilidad y Finanzas en la Universidad del municipio. La investigación se sustenta en las acciones que se proponen para lograr la permanencia de los estudiantes inscritos en el curso 2018 – 2019 y que no menos del 80 por ciento, con las acciones propuestas, logre culminar los estudios universitarios. Estas acciones se desarrollaron antes de realizar las matrículas oficiales y que anteriormente con estudiantes de nuevo ingreso no se había tenido esta experiencia.

ACTIONS TO PROMOTE THE PERMANENCE OF STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE ACCOUNTING CAREER OF THE JESÚS MENÉNDEZ UNIVERSITY CENTER

ABSTRACT

The research was developed in the Jesús Menéndez Municipal University Center, taking into account the enrollment of students in the courses of the Degree in Accounting and Finance and a high number of casualties in the different years since the beginning in 2003 of the race. The causes that have propitiated the problematic situation object of the investigation, determined through the different executed instruments, the student surveys, the observation and other methods used, as well as the personal criteria of the authors, referring to the subject treated, have made it possible to approach and give treatment to a problem that has affected not only the Accounting and Finance career at the University of the municipality. The research is based on the actions that are proposed to achieve the permanence of the students enrolled in the 2018-2019 academic year and that no less than 80 percent, with the proposed actions, achieve the completion of university studies. These actions were developed before the official registration and previously had not had this experience with new students.
