SPORTS IDENTITY THROUGH A SET OF AXIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES FROM PHYSICAL EDUCATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LAS TUNAS.
Abstract
The research addressed the strengthening of values at the University, emphasizing the Sports Identity. For this, a set of activities was proposed from Physical Education for the study of sports personalities and the national historical process with axiological intentionality, put into practice in the Faculty of Humanities, whose interpretation allowed to assume criteria and positions that made it possible to achieve the conditioning of Identity feelings, as a decisive factor to believe in what is defended, in the construction of a new society. It is a teaching legacy that the different integrating elements of society have transmitted and that when they are made aware they become convictions that generate actions as a consequence of the spiritual nourishment of the different assimilated values. There was also a response to the training of students in a new ethical dimension, prepared for analysis, reflection and the solution of alternatives related to the strengthening of values. It constitutes a methodology not conceived in the studies that precede it, it proposes a resizing of the axiological approach applied from Physical Education that allowed a more integrative vision of the complex process of formation of values in the interaction of the student with the national and historical context. sports personalities, which emphasizes the Sport Identity value and provides a set of teaching and extra-teaching activities that can be generalized and that contribute to the systemic education of the organizational components of the study plan.
