RESUMO: Face às mudanças latentes da educação no século XXI, o presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma reflexão a respeito das possibilidades e resultados do uso de metodologias ativas lúdicas como instrumento fomentador da cultura do pensar na esfera do ensino superior. Além de uma formalização contextual e conceitual, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre lazer, ludicidade e aprendizagem universitária, o trabalho foi respaldado com o estudo de caso Gincana Cultural, ação implementada na Escola de Turismo e Hospitalidade da Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, como jogo-instrumento transformador e orientador para a ampliação de conhecimentos, expandindo a sala de aula convencional e investindo no hábito da pesquisa como meio de angariar fundamentações e informações necessárias ao pensamento e senso crítico para o pleno processo de apropriação de saberes diversos na perspectiva cultural e técnica. A participação dos alunos na atividade extracurricular  estudada demonstrou o vigor e a atratividade que os meios lúdicos tem e quando os mesmos são combinados com outros métodos culminam com uma maior excelência acadêmica.

ABSTRACT: Given the latent changes of education in the twenty-first century , this article aims to present a reflection on the possibilities and results of using active methods playful instrument developers as the culture of thinking in the sphere of higher education . Apart from a contextual and conceptual formalization , through a literature survey on leisure, playfulness and university learning , work was supported with case study Cultural Gymkhana , action implemented at the School of Tourism and Hospitality at the University Anhembi Morumbi , as game - processor and advisor tool for expanding knowledge , expanding the conventional classroom and investing in the habit of research as a means of raising foundations and information necessary to thought and critical thinking to the process of appropriation of knowledge in different cultural and technical perspective . The students' participation in extracurricular activities studied showed the vigor and attractiveness that has playful ways and when they are combined with other methods culminate with greater academic excellence .
