Resumo: A imagem positiva de um destino turístico é reconhecida como uma das principais responsáveis pelo processo de escolha deste para viagens a lazer. Desse modo, o objetivo deste artigo foi analisar a imagem da Holanda enquanto destino turístico sob a percepção de potenciais turistas brasileiros. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa de natureza quantitativa de caráter descritivo. Os participantes brasileiros consideraram que a Holanda é um destino agradável, tendo belas paisagens e boas atrações turísticas naturais. Embora nenhum dos participantes conhecesse a Europa, os mesmos apresentaram avaliações positivas relacionadas ao país. O item de menor avaliação foi o clima, haja vista que o país tem períodos de inverno bastante frios se comparados com o clima brasileiro.

Image of the Netherlands in Perception of Brazilian Potential Tourists

Abstract: The positive image of a tourist destination is recognized as one of the main responsible for the process of choosing a destination for leisure. Thus, the aim of this study was to analyze the image of the Netherlands as a tourist destination in the perception of potential Brazilian tourists. Therefore, we carried out a quantitative study of descriptive character. The Brazilian participants considered that the Netherlands is a pleasant destination, with beautiful scenery and good natural tourist attractions. Although none of the participants knew Europe, they had positive evaluations related to the country. The item lowest score was the weather, considering that the country has very cold winter periods compared to the Brazilian climate.
