Resumen.- El presente trabajo explora los aportes de investigadores del turismo, quienes han aportado sobre la relación que existe entre el  desarrollo y el turismo; Viñals, Ávila, Crosby. Relacionado a las características del distrito de Yura se ha logrado identificar los factores que determinan su desarrollo turístico y su integración de los mismos, que contribuya al desarrollo adecuado del distrito tradicional de Yura.

Abstract.- The present paper dwells on the contributions tourism researchers, who have provided about the relationship between development and tourism; Viñals, Avila, Crosby. Related to the characteristics of Yura district has been identified the factors that determine their tourism development and their integration, which contributes to proper development of the traditional district of Yura.
