RESUMEN
El presente artículo busca mostrar la manera como un investigador científico de talla internacional, ha incursionado en la arena científica al punto de llegar a corregir a varias lumbreras que han contribuido notablemente en el desarrollo científico. En ese sentido y de manera jocosa, el profesor-investigador Alfonso Díaz-Jiménez, relata con gran detalle la explicación de sus contribuciones, así como la descripción de personajes de su contexto que han influido e influyen en la producción científica de alto impacto en el mundo del conocimiento. En ese orden de ideas, se ha efectuado una disertación teórica como antesala a las categorías tocadas en el conversatorio desarrollado con el profesor Díaz-Jiménez, pensando precisamente que este texto se convierta en un referente importante para todo aquel que no sólo quiera incursionar en el mundo de la ciencia, sino que también actúe en el desarrollo de su profesión u oficio con sentido de compromiso y respeto por la humanidad.

ABSTRACT
HOW TO INVESTIGATE IN BASIC SCIENCE: A SINGULAR CASE

This article seeks to show how a scientific researcher of international stature has entered the scientific arena to the point of correcting various lights that have contributed significantly to scientific development. In this sense and in a humorous way, the professor-researcher Alfonso Díaz-Jiménez, recounts in great detail the explanation of his contributions, as well as the description of characters in their context that have influenced and influence the scientific production of high impact on the world of knowledge. In this order of ideas, a theoretical dissertation has been carried out as a prelude to the categories touched on in the discussion developed with Professor Díaz-Jiménez, precisely thinking that this text becomes an important reference for anyone who not only wants to venture into the world of science, but also act in the development of your profession or trade with a sense of commitment and respect for humanity.
