RESUMO

Este artigo pretende analisar os potenciais do Estado do Pará para prospecção de mitigação das mudanças climáticas em atividades que oportunizem novos negócios na ótica do desenvolvimento sustentável. Bem como, analisar oportunidades em segmentos produtivos e não produtivos com reais potencialidades para proposta de mitigação. Especificamente, objetiva-se identificar atividades sustentáveis a partir da lógica de redução das emissões de GEE e captura de carbono nos vetores de florestamento, reflorestamento e desmatamento. A metodologia utilizada limitou-se a identificar potenciais áreas com significativas condições para operacionalizar pagamento por serviços ambientais em atividades que apresentaram algum grau de concentração.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES IN THE STATE OF PARA-AMAZON-BRAZIL: METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSMENT OF POTENTIAL MARKETS FOR MUNICIPAL GREEN

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the potential of the State of Pará to prospect for climate change mitigation activities that nurture new businesses from the perspective of sustainable development. And to evaluate opportunities in productive and nonproductive sectors with real potential for proposed mitigation. Specifically, the objective is to identify sustainable activities from the logic of reducing GHG emissions and carbon sequestration in the vectors of afforestation, reforestation and deforestation. The methodology used was limited to identifying areas with significant potential operational conditions for payment for environmental services activities that had some degree of concentration.
