Resumen

La pobreza ha sido un tema que preocupa a los investigadores tanto en Ciencias Sociales como a los humanistas. El siguiente trabajo intenta desde una perspectiva novedosa, indagar en los orígenes y modalidades de las desigualdades sociales en la Roma de la dinastía Julio-Claudia. Los hallazgos discutidos nos ayudarán a comprender el papel de la pobreza y su relación con otros estratos en las sociedades modernas.

Abstract

The poverty has been an issue that worries the investigators not only in Social Sciences but also the humanist. The following work attempts from a novel perspective, to investigate in the origins and modalities of the social inequalities in the Rome of the dynasty Julio-Claudia. The discussed discoveries will help us to understand the paper of the poverty and their relationship with other classes, in the modern societies.
