Abstract
The present study was developed with the purpose of determining the relationship between the “Labor Climate and the performance of the administrative staff of the Health Districts of the Province of Manabí in Ecuador”. The research study has a quantitative approach and a descriptive correlational design, in which 312 surveys applied to the administrative staff of the object of study were applied. The Cronbach Alpha test that validates the reliability of the instrument, showed a 0.970 with 98 elements (items), meaning that there is a high level of confidence in the data collected. To measure the correlation between these two variables, Spearman's correlation coefficient was used, in which a value of 0.870 is observed, showing a significant level of correlation; this expresses that, the better working environment, the better performance. With what is shown that the work environment is a fundamental factor within organizations, and that according to the perception that staff have about the environment where they work their performance can be positive or negative.
The present study takes two intrinsically related variables, on the one hand Management, understood as an ability to plan, organize, direct, control organizations and people, who work to achieve goals through short, medium and long term strategies; On the other hand, economic growth, which deals with its theory based on the evolution of the living standards of a country and / or territory, calculated based on the productive increase and the performance of goods and services within a period of time. The objective of this research is "to determine how management in tourism companies affects the economic growth of the province of Manabí - Ecuador". 307 surveys were run on managers and administrators of the "tourism companies". The method used is the complete inductive, for this, five hypotheses were formulated (one general and four specific), which were validated through the statistical program SPSS version 25. Applying the Cronbach's Alpha test, the instrument was validated on a polycotomic scale ( Likert) for the survey, which yielded 0.996, being interpreted as high reliability. Likewise, Spearman's Rho was used to verify the hypotheses, whose results in general were 0.936 close to 1, that is, a high or very good correlation level, according to the measurement scale.
