RESUMEN
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar la influencia de la estrategia de desarrollo turístico del grupo Gaviota S.A en la calidad de vida de la comunidad de Caibarién, Cuba en el marco del desarrollo sustentable. Se realizó una evaluación de la calidad de vida de los residentes de Caibarién mediante indicadores subjetivos de la percepción y satisfacción con los dominios del bienestar utilizando el modelo teórico de Woo (2013). El principal método para la recolección de datos que se utilizó fue la encuesta. Se realizó un análisis de ecuaciones estructurales mediante el software R con los paquetes lavaan y SemTools. Los principales resultados mostraron que la estrategia de desarrollo tiene una influencia directa y positiva en la satisfacción con la vida material y que esta a su vez influye de forma directa y positiva en la evaluación global de la vida de los residentes de Caibarién. Se presentan los resultados detallados, conclusiones y futuras líneas de investigación.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to evaluate the influence of the tourism development strategy of the Gaviota S.A group on the quality of life of the community of Caibarién, Cuba in the framework of sustainable development. An evaluation of the quality of life of the residents of Caibarién was carried out using subjective indicators of perception and satisfaction with the domains of well-being using the theoretical model of Woo (2013). The main method for data collection was survey. An analysis of structural equation modelling was performed using R software with lavaan and SemTools packages. The main results showed that the development strategy has a direct and positive influence on the satisfaction with material life, and that this in turn has a direct and positive influence on the global evaluation of life for the residents of Caibarién. Detailed results, conclusions and future research lines are presented.
