RESUMEN
La presente investigación tiene como propósito evaluar la Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED) proveniente de China hacia México por el periodo de 1999 a 2018 a través de una revisión de la literatura, llevando a cabo una investigación documental, describiendo el tema y analizando la información pública de diferentes instituciones nacionales e internacionales, así como los esfuerzos y el discurso del Gobierno Federal. A pesar de contar con 12 acuerdos en 46 países, y que la tendencia de la IED proveniente de China presenta un crecimiento constante, Los Planes Nacionales de Desarrollo no van encaminados en este sentido.

ABSTRACT
CHARACTERIZATION OF CHINESE FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT IN MEXICO
The purpose of this research is to evaluate Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from China towards Mexico for the period from 1999 to 2018 through a review of the literature, carrying out a documentary investigation, describing the subject and analyzing the public information of different national and international institutions as well as the efforts and discourse of the Federal Government. In spite of having 12 agreements in 46 countries, and that the trend of FDI from China presents a constant growth, policies are not directed in this direction.
