LA VIOLENCIA DE GENERO CONTRA LAS MUJERES EN EL MUNICIPIO DE SANTA MARÍA DEL RÍO, SAN LUIS POTOSÍ: UNA VISIÓN DESDE LA CRIMINOLOGÍA

RESUMEN

La violencia de genero ha sido un problema invisible por décadas y a nivel mundial, la investigación tomó lugar en el municipio de Santa María del Río, San Luis Potosí, el cual se eligió específicamente por no presentar alerta de violencia de género en contra de las mujeres, con el objetivo de realizar un análisis criminológico que permitiera conocer el estado actual de la violencia de género en dicho municipio, al igual que conocer los factores que colaboran con la existencia de este tipo de violencia, se utilizó un enfoque mixto, ya que se realizó un análisis tanto cualitativo como cuantitativo, se emplearon diferentes técnicas de investigación, abarcando varias fuentes de información, tales como la percepción de la ciudadanía sanmarience, información brindada por una instancia municipal, cifras oficiales y observación no participativa. Se llevó a cabo un análisis de las estadísticas arrojadas por la investigación, y se realizó un análisis criminológico relacionando varias teorías con los resultados obtenidos. Esto último permitió visualizar el estado actual de la violencia de género y los factores que interviene en esta, y en que el municipio, aun con sus características, no esté señalado para ser candidato a la alerta de violencia de género en contra de las mujeres.

ABSTRACT

Gender violence has been an invisible problem for decades and worldwide, the investigation took place in the municipality of Santa María del Río, San Luis Potosí, which was specifically chosen for not presenting an alert on gender violence against women. , with the objective of carrying out a criminological analysis that would allow knowing the current state of gender violence in said municipality, as well as knowing the factors that collaborate with the existence of this type of violence, a mixed approach was used, since it was Both qualitative and quantitative analysis were carried out, different research techniques were used, covering various sources of information, such as the perception of the Sanmarinese citizenship, information provided by a municipal authority, official figures and non-participatory observation. An analysis of the statistics produced by the investigation was carried out, and a criminological analysis was carried out, relating various theories with the results obtained. The latter made it possible to visualize the current state of gender violence and the factors that intervene in it, and in which the municipality, even with its characteristics, is not indicated to be a candidate for the alert of gender violence against women.
