RESUMEN
El presente trabajo aborda la evaluación ergonómica de puestos, utilizando el método LEST como herramienta para determinar si las condiciones de trabajo son: satisfactorias, molestas o nocivas. Se evaluaron las 5 dimensiones que comprende la guía de observación en el taller mecánico de una empresa azucarera. En la metodología se tomaron como referencia la NOM-011-STPS-2001, NOM-015-STPS-2001, NOM 024-STPS-2001 y NOM-025-STPS-2008 para las valoraciones de las variables que comprenden las dimensiones de carga física y entorno físico. Los datos obtenidos se analizaron con el Software Ergoniza y se valoraron con las puntuaciones del método LEST. Resultando alta nocividad para los cuatro trabajadores estudiados en cuanto a las dimensiones de carga física y entorno físico, además se observó que los trabajadores presentaron agotamiento al finalizar la jornada de trabajo y vista cansada lo que les ocasiona fatiga, por lo que es necesario tomar medidas adecuadas para mejorar la situación del entorno laboral y evitar daños en la salud física y mental de los trabajadores.

ABSTRACT
This work deals with the ergonomic evaluation of positions, using the LEST method as a tool to determine whether the working conditions are: satisfactory, annoying or harmful. The 5 dimensions included in the observation guide were evaluated in the mechanical workshop of a sugar company. In the methodology, the NOM-011-STPS-2001, NOM-015-STPS-2001, NOM 024-STPS-2001 and NOM-025-STPS-2008 were taken as a reference for the evaluations of the variables that comprise the load dimensions physical and physical environment. The data obtained were analyzed with the Ergoniza Software and evaluated with the scores of the LEST method. Resulting high harmfulness for the four workers studied in terms of the dimensions of physical load and physical environment, it was also observed that the workers presented exhaustion at the end of the work day and tired eyes, which causes fatigue, so it is necessary to take measures adequate to improve the situation of the work environment and avoid damage to the physical and mental health of workers.
