TRATAMIENTO A LAS SOCIEDADES ESCLAVISTAS DESDE LA OBRA DE SACO EN HISTORIA ANTIGUA

RESUMEN:

El trabajo propone un acercamiento a las sociedades esclavistas de la antigüedad, a partir del análisis que José Antonio Saco y López expone en su estudio sobre la esclavitud. Los estudios actuales relacionados con la Historia Universal han privilegiado los temas de las sociedades de la antigüedad, que se imparten en la carrera de historia, y en otras que reciben la asignatura de Historia Universal, con un profundo tratamiento desde el plan de estudio anterior y ahora con el nuevo plan de estudio dentro del sistema curricular de la carrera de historia en la Universidad de Holguín. El tema posee un peso significativo porque se refiere al esclavismo como régimen económico social. Lo que permite dar tratamiento y salida en pregrado a través del estudio de la historia antigua, pues esta aborda el análisis histórico de las antiguas civilizaciones del Oriente, Grecia y Roma, las regularidades del modo de producción esclavista, y las particularidades, su comportamiento en las sociedades, los personajes, acontecimientos y procesos que jugaron un papel importante para entender la existencia de procesos sociales universales, para evidenciar la profunda relación entre el fenómeno de la esclavitud y su puesta en práctica en las civilizaciones antiguas.

TREATMENT TO THE PRO-SLAVERY SOCIETIES FROM THE WORK OF SACK IN OLD HISTORY

ABSTRACT

The work proposes an approach to the pro-slavery societies of the antiquity, starting from the analysis that José Antonio Sack and Lopez exposes in his study about the slavery. The current studies related with the Universal History, they have privileged the topics of the societies of the antiquity that are imparted in the career of History, and in others that receive the subject of Universal History, with a deep treatment from the plan of previous study and now with the new study plan inside the curricular system of the career of History in the University of Holguín. The topic possesses a significant weight because he/she refers to the slavery like social economic regime. What allows to give treatment and exit in undergraduate through the study of the History Antigua, because this it approaches the historical analysis of the old civilizations of the East, Greece and Rome, the regularities in the way of pro-slavery production, and the particularities, their behavior in the societies, the characters, events and processes that played an important paper to understand the existence of universal social processes, to evidence the deep relationship between the phenomenon of the slavery and their setting in practice in the old civilizations.
