LA EXCURSIÓN INTEGRADORA: POTENCIALIDADES DEL SECTOR COSTERO PARA EL APRENDIZAJE DE LAS CIENCIAS NATURALES

RESUMEN

Los nuevos desafíos que exigen los escenarios globales y regionales con respecto al cuidado y protección del medio ambiente constituyen un reto para las actuales generaciones. El desarrollo del Proceso Educativo que favorezca la concepción científica del mundo desde la implementación de las políticas establecidas es la principal responsabilidad de los docentes. La excursión posibilita la concreción en la práctica de los contenidos que se recibe en el aula, por ello es un elemento importante para el docente que posibilita la formación integral del educando. En Cuba el estudio de las ciencias naturales constituye una prioridad. Actualmente, en los grados iniciales de la enseñanza Secundaria Básica, se integran los contenidos de la biología y la geografía en un solo programa, por lo cual es una necesidad la preparación del docente para impartir el mismo. Desde la asignatura Ciencias Naturales y las potencialidades que ofrecen las excursiones integradoras al sector costero, como elemento del entorno donde se encuentra la institución educativa, se desarrolló la presente investigación, donde se plantea como problema: Cómo favorecer el aprendizaje de los contenidos de la Ciencias Naturales a partir de la excursión integradora al sector costero “Los Cayuelos”. Para dar solución al problema y por el grado de significación de la temática se plantea como objetivo: diseñar una excursión integradora al sector costero “Los Cayuelos” para potenciar el aprendizaje de los contenidos del programa de Ciencias Naturales de Séptimo Grado.

THE INTEGRATING EXCURSION: POTENTIALITIES OF THE COASTAL SECTOR FOR LEARNING NATURAL SCIENCES

ABSTRACT

The new challenges demanded by global and regional scenarios regarding the care and protection of the environment constitute a challenge for current generations. The development of the Educational Process that favours the scientific conception of the world from the implementation of the established policies is the main responsibility of teachers. The excursion makes possible the concretion in the practice of the contents that are received in the classroom, for this reason it is an important element for the teacher that allows the integral formation of the student. In Cuba, the study of natural sciences is a priority. Currently, in the initial grades of Basic Secondary education, the contents of biology and geography are integrated into a single program, which is why the preparation of the teacher to teach it is a necessity. From the Natural Sciences subject and the potentialities offered by integrative excursions to the coastal sector, as an element of the environment where the educational institution is located, this research was developed, where the problem is posed: How to promote the learning of the contents of Science Natural from the integrating excursion to the coastal sector "Los Cayuelos". To solve the problem and due to the degree of significance of the subject, the objective is to design an inclusive excursion to the coastal sector "Los Cayuelos" to enhance the learning of the contents of the Seventh Grade Natural Sciences program.
