RESUMEN
En el presente trabajo el lector encontrará información relacionada con la importancia de la formación axiológica para el desarrollo sociocultural de Latinoamérica. Se analizan algunos factores socio espirituales y tendencias epocales que condicionan el desarrollo axiológico del ser humano actual. También se explican los roles familiar y educacional en la formación ciudadana. Se retoman y enriquecen dos de los “Seis objetivos de educación para todos a alcanzar el año 2015”, para advertir sobre la problemática del analfabetismo, la equidad social y la enseñanza unisex en el continente. Finalmente, se aborda la necesidad regional de crear nuevos horizontes educativos enfocados en eliminar las brechas sociales existentes, haciendo de la educación en un derecho inalienable, impostergable y de amplio acceso.

ABSTRACT
In this paper, the reader will find information related to the importance of axiological training for sociocultural development of Latin America. Some factors that determine the axiological development of the human being are analyzed. The family and educational roles in civic education are also explained. Two of the Six goals of education for all to be achieved in 2015 are retaken to warn about the problems of illiteracy, social equity and unisex education in the continent. Finally, the regional need to create new educational horizons focused on eliminating existing social gaps, making of education an inalienable, urgent and of wide access right is investigated.
