RESUMEN
El trabajo asumió como objetivo de esencia favorecer la educación ambiental de los escolares primarios, concretamente en el sexto grado, a partir de un conjunto de actividades con enfoque investigativo. Esta idea se llevó a la práctica tomando como plataforma el programa de la asignatura Didáctica de las Ciencias Naturales, la cual se imparte en la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Primaria, así como la asignatura Ciencias Naturales, impartida en el sexto grado. El trabajo se sustentó en los rasgos que distinguen la actividad investigativa escolar (AIE) en este nivel educativo, definida y caracterizada por el autor en su tesis doctoral. Desde esta perspectiva, fue diseñado e introducido en la práctica pedagógica, por los mismos estudiantes universitarios que se desempeñan como maestros de sexto grado, un conjunto de actividades con un enfoque investigativo y ambientalista, que permitieron, al concluir su aplicación, constatar cierta polaridad positiva hacia un fortalecimiento de la educación ambiental en escolares del grado en cuestión.

ENVIRONMENTAL CULTURE IN FUTURE LICENSES AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
ABSTRACT
The main objective of the work was to promote environmental education in primary school children, specifically in the sixth grade, based on a set of activities with an investigative focus. This idea was put into practice taking as a platform the program of the Didactics of Natural Sciences subject, which is taught in the Bachelor of Primary Education career, as well as the Natural Sciences subject, taught in the sixth grade. The work was based on the features that distinguish school research activity (AIE) at this educational level, defined and characterized by the author in his doctoral thesis. From this perspective, a set of activities with an investigative and environmental approach was designed and introduced into pedagogical practice, by the same university students who work as sixth grade teachers, which allowed, upon completion of its application, to verify a certain positive polarity towards a strengthening of environmental education in schoolchildren of the grade in question.
