RESUMEN
El estudio constituye un resultado del Proyecto de investigación “Dirección de instituciones educativas y perfeccionamiento de la Educación”, asociado al Programa Sectorial de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación “Sistema educativo cubano. Perspectivas de desarrollo”, conducido por el Instituto Central de Ciencias Pedagógicas (ICCP), perteneciente al Ministerio de Educación de Cuba (MINED). La búsqueda de la calidad de la educación posgraduada universitaria implica incrementar su pertinencia con las demandas sociales en función de la solución de los problemas más acuciantes, a los que se suman los generados por la pandemia de la Covid-19, que imponen un cambio radical en las formas de organización y evaluación de sus procesos sustantivos. La Universidad de Holguín, como bien se plantea en los documentos que rigen su funcionamiento, se orienta hacia el desarrollo local graduando profesionales competentes y comprometidos con la construcción de un socialismo próspero y sostenible (…), en un ambiente universitario orientado a la calidad y un sistema para la gestión integrada de los procesos universitarios, empleando eficazmente los recursos de que dispone la organización, en función del logro exitoso de los objetivos y del mejoramiento de las condiciones de estudio, trabajo y vida. El objetivo del artículo es: analizar la relación teórico-práctica existente entre la evaluación del impacto social del posgrado y la gestión por procesos universitarios.

THE EVALUATION OF THE SOCIAL IMPACT OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF PROCESS MANAGEMENT
ABSTRACT
The study is a result of the research project "Management of Educational Institutions and Improvement of Education", associated to the Sectorial Program of Science, Technology and Innovation "Cuban Educational System. Perspectives of development", conducted by the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences (ICCP), belonging to the Ministry of Education of Cuba (MINED). The search for quality in university postgraduate education implies increasing its relevance to social demands in terms of the solution of the most pressing problems, in addition to those generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, which impose a radical change in the forms of organization and evaluation of its substantive processes. The University of Holguin, as it is well stated in the documents that govern its operation, is oriented towards local development graduating competent professionals committed to the construction of a prosperous and sustainable socialism (...), in a university environment oriented to quality and a system for the integrated management of the university processes, using efficiently the resources available to the organization, in function of the successful achievement of the objectives and the improvement of the study, work and life conditions. The objective of the article is: to analyze the theoretical-practical relationship between the evaluation of the social impact of postgraduate studies and the management by university processes.
