DISEÑO DE UN PROGRAMA DE APRENDIZAJE CON ENFOQUE PARTICIPATIVO EN FINCAS AGROECOLÓGICAS DEL CONSEJO POPULAR PUEBLO NUEVO MUNICIPIO HOLGUÍN

RESUMEN

En el municipio Holguín el sistema de la agricultura Urbana y Suburbana desarrolla a nivel de consejo popular un importante trabajo de extensión agraria. Sin embargo a pesar de los grandes esfuerzos realizados por los representantes de los consejos populares, técnicos y administrativos de las diferentes unidades productivas de conjunto con productores y entidades de la provincia e institutos nacionales en aras de mejorar los resultados productivos dentro del sistema de la Agricultura Urbana y Suburbana en el municipio, no se ha llegado a estabilizar el trabajo de capacitación debido a la escasez de personal técnico preparado así como de materiales de consulta práctica  para el desarrollo del proceso productivo (AU, 2014). En el Consejo Popular Pueblo Nuevo del municipio Holguín, existen productores con resultados positivos en   la producción ecológica de vegetales; sin embargo, sus fincas no se emplean como áreas demostrativas que   favorezcan el desarrollo de un proceso de aprendizaje fundamentado en prácticas agroecológicas, que propicien el incremento de producciones sanas y la sostenibilidad en otras fincas integrales. El objetivo es diseñar con la participación de productores, un programa de aprendizaje que estimule la adopción de prácticas agroecológicas y que propicien el incremento de producciones sanas y la sostenibilidad de fincas integrales del Consejo Popular de pueblo Nuevo.

DESIGN OF A LEARNING PROGRAM WITH A PARTICIPATORY APPROACH IN AGROECOLOGICAL FARMS OF THE POPULAR COUNCIL PUEBLO NUEVO MUNICIPIO HOLGUÍN

ABSTRACT

In the Holguín municipality, the urban and suburban agriculture system develops an important work of agrarian extension at the popular council level. However, despite the great efforts made by the representatives of the popular, technical and administrative councils of the different productive units together with producers and entities of the province and national institutes in order to improve productive results within the Agriculture system Urban and Suburban in the municipality, the training work has not been stabilized due to the shortage of trained technical personnel as well as practical consultation materials for the development of the production process (AU, 2014). In the Pueblo Nuevo Popular Council of the Holguín municipality, there are producers with positive results in the ecological production of vegetables; However, their farms are not used as demonstration areas that favor the development of a learning process based on agroecological practices, which promote the increase of healthy productions and sustainability in other integral farms. The objective is to design, with the participation of producers, a learning program that stimulates the adoption of agroecological practices and that promote the increase of healthy productions and the sustainability of integral farms of the Popular Council of Pueblo Nuevo.
