Resumen
La seguridad y salud en el trabajo surge por la necesidad de preservar la integridad física de los trabajadores, constituyendo el eslabón fundamental para brindar seguridad y protección a las personas que en él se encuentran. A partir de este criterio se desarrolla la investigación propuesta con el objetivo de diseñar una metodología, que favorezca la correcta aplicación de la gestión de riesgos en escuelas del Consejo Popular Pedro Díaz Coello. Actualmente, el personal que se encuentra en estos centros carece de la preparación necesaria para realizar la labor preventiva, lo que dificulta realizar una correcta identificación y control de riesgos, propiciándose que las acciones para minimizar los riesgos sean insuficientes, lo que obstaculiza el proceso de seguimiento de los riesgos como un elemento necesario para su erradicación. En respuesta a la problemática existente que se presenta, se está diseñando una metodología que contribuya al correcto levantamiento, identificación, control y prevención de riegos para lo cual se ha realizado un análisis y estudio de la documentación referente al tema y sus normativas vigentes; se elabora un plan de acción donde quedarán las estrategias a seguir para que se realice de manera más eficiente la labor preventiva en las escuelas de Consejo Popular Pedro Díaz Coello.

METHODOLOGY FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH RISK MANAGEMENT AT WORK IN SCHOOLS OF THE POPULAR COUNCIL PEDRO DÍAZ COELLO.
Abstract
Safety and health in the workplace have always been important to the cuban government. Specifically, safety and health management in the workplace has more importance in scholar institutions, where they play a key role for the welfare of students, teachers and workers. Starting from the study and analysis of the documentation and policies related the risk management in scholar institutions of the popular council Pedro Díaz Coello from the Holguin municipality, we identified management shortcomings related to all kind of risks. First, the procedures and documentation for safety and health risk management is almost inexistent. Second, the personnel related to risk management lacks preparation to manage risks. These shortcomings hinder the risk monitoring which is a key process to eradicate the mentioned risks. To overcome the mentioned problems, we propose a methodology to manage safety and health risks in scholar institutions of the popular council Pedro Díaz Coello from the Holguin municipality. We also propose supplementary material including the fundamental didactic elements that allow the adequate preparation of the risk management personnel of those institutions. This material also has a digital support by means of a multimedia providing more efficient access to the risk management related information. All of this has been contextualized to the geographic and demographic features of scholar institutions in the popular council Pedro Díaz Coello.
