MEJORA DE LAS DIFICULTADES DE APRENDIZAJE DE LAS TABLAS DE MULTIPLICAR Y COMPRENSIÓN LECTORA EN LA MATERIA DE MATEMÁTICA

RESUMEN

En la actualidad el aprendizaje de las tablas de multiplicar se ha vuelto un reto para todo educador de la asignatura de matemática, ya que estas son la base para el desarrollo de las operaciones de multiplicación, división y problemas de aplicación. El presente artículo trata de explicar las problemáticas detectadas en las alumnas de quinto grado sección A, del Centro Escolar “Eulogia Rivas”, identificando estas por medio de un diagnóstico realizado, observando a las estudiantes, aplicando un instrumento que sirvió como línea base para determinar la problemática. La investigación tiene como propósito mejorar el aprendizaje de las tablas de multiplicar y la comprensión lectora, para ello, se ejecutaron tres diferentes estrategias que son: multiplicación con los dedos, tablas de multiplicar por medio de cuadrícula y el rincón de lectura, utilizando la metodología de la investigación acción. Mediante la autorreflexión y la reflexión grupal a través de técnicas como la observación y entrevista, se logró disminuir en un 85% de las estudiantes las problemáticas identificadas.

IMPROVING DIFFICULTIES OF MULTIPLICATION TABLES AND READING COMPREHENSION IN THE SUBJECT OF MATHEMATICS

 Abstract

Currently, the learning of the multiplication tables has become a challenge for every educator of Mathematics because this is one of the basic forms for developing operations of multiplication, division, and application of problematic. This article tries to explain the identified problems by a diagnostic in students of fifth grade of the high school “Eulogia Rivas”. Identifying those problems by using a diagnostic, we observed the group of the students, and an applied instrument was taken as a basic line describing the problematic. The investigation has the purpose to improve the memorizing of the tables of multiplication and the reading comprehension, regarding those three techniques were applied:  Multiplication with the fingers, multiplication tables by means of a grid and the reading corner that helped to reduce the problems, using the methodology of the action investigation. We achieved to minimize 85 percent of the identified problematic in the students by using the auto reflection and the collective reflection.
