Resumen
La presente investigación se desarrolló en el Instituto Politécnico 5 de septiembre de la provincia Cienfuegos durante el período 2017-2019 con el objetivo de elaborar una propuesta de ejercicios para contribuir a la educación ambiental de los estudiantes de la especialidad Química Industrial desde las clases de Química. Para su realización se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico y empírico que permitieron identificar limitaciones en el conocimiento de los estudiantes para relacionar los problemas medioambientales con los contenidos que reciben en la asignatura química, las limitaciones en los textos básicos de la asignatura para lograr este propósito y por otra parte identificar los fundamentos teóricos que caracterizan la educación ambiental. La evaluación de la propuesta por criterios de especialistas brinda evidencias de su pertinencia y factibilidad dada por la convergencia de los criterios de estos y su aplicación en la práctica educativa corrobora su contribución a la educación ambiental de los estudiantes toda vez que incluye contenidos conceptuales que relacionan problemas medioambientales actuales y propios de la localidad con los contenidos del programa, constituyendo este, el primer elemento a tener en cuenta en una estrategia con estos fines.

Summary
The present investigation developed in the Polytechnical Institute 5 September of the province Cienfuegos during the period 2016-2018,with the aim to elaborate a proposal of exercises to contribute to the environmental education of the students of the Industrial Chemical speciality fromthe classes of chemistry. For his realization used methods of theoretical and empirical level that allowend to identify limitations in the knowledgeof the students to relate the environmental problems with the contents that receive in the asignatura chemical, the limitations in the basic texts of the asignatura to attain this purpose, and on the other hand identify the theoretical and foundations that characterise the environmental education. The evaluation of the proposal by criteria of specialists offers evidences of his relevance and factibilidad given by the convergence of the criteria of these and his application in the educational practice corroborates his contribution to the environmental education of the students all time that includes conceptual contents that relate current environmental problems with the own of locality and with the contents of the syllabus, constituting this the first element to take into account in a strategy with these ends.
