Resumen
La biotecnología ha adquirido gran relevancia en las últimas décadas con el desarrollo del conocimiento y nuevas tecnologías. Su impacto no sólo es notable en el campo de la salud humana, sino que tiene aplicaciones en la veterinaria, la agricultura, la industria con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida de los seres vivos y los productos en la rama manufacturera. Si bien no son pocos los países que han apostado por el desarrollo de este sector, algunos han alcanzado un mayor nivel de progreso en el mismo y es necesario aprender de ellos. Alemania es un país líder en el rubro y de gran impacto y notoriedad a nivel internacional por su capacidad, condiciones y voluntad política, constituyendo un ejemplo a seguir por muchos. Cuba, por su parte a pesar de ser un país pequeño, posee un gran capital intelectual que le ha permitido ganar prestigio mundialmente. La presente investigación constituye un análisis de las buenas prácticas biotecnológicas alemanas y su aplicabilidad en Cuba.

Analysis of the good practices of the German biotechnological industry. Learning for Cuba
Abstract
Biotechnology has gained relevance in the last few decades with the development of knowledge and new technologies. Its impacts has been noticed not only in the human health field, but it also has application in the veterinarian, agriculture and in the industry with the objective of improving the life quality of the living being and the products in the manufacture field. Although there are a few countries that have opted for the development of this sector, some of them have reached a higher level of progress and it is necessary that we learn from them. Germany is a leader in the field with a great impact and notoriety internationally due to its capacity, conditions and political will becoming an example to be followed by many. Cuba, in its way, despite being a small country, has a great intellectual capital that has permitted gaining prestige worldwide. This research constitutes an analysis of the good German biotechnological practices and their applicability in Cuba.
