Resumen
Este artículo aborda los aspectos más relevantes del proceso de extensión universitaria en la Educación Superior y su gestión socio-educativa desde los proyectos socio-culturales en las condiciones de universalización ya definidas. Se abordan desde una perspectiva crítica las distintas posiciones teóricas que permiten el estudio epistemológico del proceso. A través del análisis histórico-lógico, se revela la evolución histórica del proceso en Cuba a partir de los nuevos contextos. Se realiza, además, una caracterización de su estado actual en el CUM de Contramaestre. Resulta elemental formar un futuro profesional competente a la altura de estos tiempos los cuales son los responsables de incidir y transformar los escenarios sociales en contextos municipales.
Summary
This article is about the most relevant aspects of the process of university extension in Higher Education and its socio-educational management from socio-cultural projects in the conditions of universalization already defined. The different theoretical positions that allow the epistemological study of the process are approached from a critical perspective. Through a historical-logical analysis, the historical evolution of the process in Cuba is revealed from the new contexts. In addition, a characterization of its current state is performed in the CUM in Contramaestre. It is essential to form competent future professionals at the height of these times, who are responsible for influencing and transforming social settings in municipal contexts.
