Resumen
La siguiente investigación fundamenta la pertinencia de la universidad a través de su rol de educadora social en la interrelación con la comunidad para lograr mayor eficiencia de los grupos sociales ligados a la preservación y cuidado del Patrimonio., con el propósito de contribuir a la conservación y promoción del Patrimonio Local y Nacional en las comunidades del municipio de Yaguajay bajo una estrategia de educación cooperativa que se estructure desde la relación Universidad-sociedad. Con esta propuesta se pretende incidir en la formación y consolidación, de una cultura del diálogo, la concertación y la participación, para promover las diversas sinergias y articulaciones que exigen los procesos de desarrollo local. Y así fortalecer la participación responsable de las comunidades para reanimar la vida sociocultural de sus pobladores partiendo de sus propias necesidades, logrando finalmente la conformación de una estrategia de educación comunitaria a convertirse en un instrumento metodológico y práctico para elevar la capacidad de articulación, organización y relaciones de cooperación entre instituciones, entidades y grupos sociales locales en los escenarios y necesidades identificadas como clave en las comunidades del territorio.

Summary
The following investigation bases the relevancy of the university through its list of educating social in the interrelation with the community to achieve bigger efficiency from the bound social groups to the preservation and care of the Patrimony., with the purpose of contributing to the conservation and promotion of the Local and National Patrimony in the communities of the municipality of low Yaguajay a strategy of cooperative education that is structured from the relationship University-society. With this proposal it is sought to impact in the formation and consolidation, of a culture of the dialogue, the agreement and the participation, to promote the diverse synergies and articulations that demand the processes of local development. And this way to strengthen the participation responsible for the communities to revive the sociocultural life of their residents leaving of their own necessities, achieving the conformation of a strategy of community education finally to become a methodological and practical instrument to elevate the articulation capacity, organization and cooperation relationships among institutions, entities and local social groups in the scenarios and identified necessities as key in the communities of the territory.
