RESUMEN

En el presente artículo se analiza el desarrollo de la bioética y la ingeniería biomédica como ramas complementarias entre sí, debido a que hay una relación directa entre la toma de decisiones y los conceptos que se aplican en ambas ciencias, por ello se toma en cuenta cuales son las prácticas y los campos en los que actúa el ingeniero biomédico, así como los principales principios y deberes de la bioética que intervienen en la biomedicina, así llegando a evaluar mediante un método inductivo que toma como principal idea una inferencia dentro de los códigos de ética, los cuales se aplican directamente en el desarrollo de las actividades del ingeniero biomédico, en la actualidad este debe entender la importantica de conocer estos temas, ya que su práctica profesional interviene directamente al momento de realizar un tratamiento o diagnostico de un ser vivo, estos temas no deben actuar por separado ya que el compromiso y calidad de una practica profesional se refleja en el cuidado y la preservación de la vida en todos sus momentos, además de ver la importancia de tener códigos que apliquen a su práctica para que esta no se vea opacada por malas decisiones, y que su desarrollo se implemente más allá de la parte económica y que perdure la parte ética humana.

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the development of bioethics and biomedical engineering as complementary branches between them, because there is a direct relationship between decision-making and the concepts that apply in both sciences, so it is taken into account which are the practices and fields in which the biomedical engineer works, The main principles and duties of bioethics that intervene in biomedicine are also taken into account, thus reaching an evaluation through an inductive method that takes as its main idea an inference within the codes of ethics, which are directly applied in the development of the biomedical engineer's activities, Nowadays, the biomedical engineer must understand the importance of knowing these topics, since his professional practice is directly involved at the moment of performing a treatment or diagnosis of a living being, these topics should not act separately since the commitment and quality of a professional practice is reflected in the care and preservation of life in all its moments, besides seeing the importance of having codes that apply to his practice so that it is not overshadowed by bad decisions, and that its development is implemented beyond the economic part and that the human ethical part endures.
