EL ZOOLÓGICO DE LAS TUNAS EN LA RUTA DEL DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE

RESUMEN

El artículo que presentamos está referido a la implementación de la “Tarea Vida” en el zoológico de Las Tunas  a partir de la implementación del proyecto “Protección de la flora y la fauna”, donde se   han detectado insuficiencias en la afectación en la calidad de la seguridad alimentaria de las especies, inadecuado manejo de los animales en cautiverio, baja calidad en la preparación del personal que atiende la institución, situaciones en el sistema estructural (soporte tecnológico), deforestación, etc. Según ese diagnóstico preliminar podemos inferir que es una necesidad apremiante encaminar acciones dirigidas a contrarrestar las vulnerabilidades en la protección del Medio Ambiente: sistema de elementos abióticos: energía solar, suelo, agua y aire. Bióticos: organismos vivos y socioeconómicos, con que interactúa el ser humano, adaptándose, transformándolos y empleándolos para satisfacer sus necesidades y lograr un equilibrio de los ecosistemas y la continuidad de la vida, para lo cual es imprescindible aplicar la política y normas ambientales establecidas. Preservar las especies existentes en alimentación, reforestación, tratamiento para prolongar su ciclo de vida, donde los recursos materiales presentan limitaciones que afectan el desarrollo sostenible de la diversidad.

ABSTRACT

The article that we present refers to the implementation of the "Life Task" in the Las Tunas Zoo from the implementation of the project "Protection of flora and fauna", where deficiencies have been detected in the impact on the quality of the food security of the species, inadequate handling of the animals in captivity, low quality in the preparation of the personnel who attend the institution, situations in the structural system (technological support), deforestation, etc. According to this preliminary diagnosis, we can infer that it is an urgent need to direct actions aimed at counteracting vulnerabilities in the protection of the Environment: abiotic elements system: solar energy, soil, water and air. Biotic: living and socioeconomic organisms, with which human beings interact, adapting, transforming and using them to satisfy their needs and achieve a balance of ecosystems and the continuity of life, for which it is essential to apply established environmental policy and standards. Preserve existing species in food, reforestation, treatment to prolong their life cycle, where material resources present limitations that affect the sustainable development of diversity.
