Resumen:
Los problemas ambientales forman parte de los grandes y graves desafíos que tiene que enfrentar la humanidad. De su prevención, mejoramiento y solución depende la existencia de la vida del hombre y de toda la biosfera. El impacto que sobre el medio natural provoca una producción basada en la competencia y la lucha irracional por los mercados, pone al desnudo la fragilidad y el agotamiento de los recursos y sistemas naturales en los que descansa la vida. Es preciso educar a los estudiantes y a la población en general en el respeto al medio ambiente, en la conservación de lo creado por el hombre y en la firme convicción de que si no tomamos medidas urgentes todo esfuerzo ulterior por mejorar la vida será inútil si las bases que la sostienen continúan siendo destruidas. El presente trabajo está dirigido a reflexionar sobre la necesidad de formar profesionales de la educación debidamente preparados en materia de Educación Ambiental, que desempeñen una labor efectiva en el desarrollo de una ética ambiental responsable en sus educandos y cómo los docentes en ejercicio pueden contribuir al logro de este propósito.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND THE BOTANICAL DISCIPLINE, HIS IMPACT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBLE ETHICS IN PROFESSIONALS' FORMATION OF EDUCATION.
Abstrac: Environmental problems are part of the great and serious challenges that humanity has to face. The existence of human life and of the entire biosphere depends on its prevention, improvement and solution. The impact that a production based on competition and irrational struggle for markets causes on the natural environment exposes the fragility and depletion of natural resources and systems on which life rests. It is necessary to educate students and the general population in respect for the environment, in the conservation of what is created by man and in the firm conviction that if we do not take urgent measures any further effort to improve life will be useless if the bases that support it continue to be destroyed. This work is aimed at reflecting on the need to train education professionals duly prepared in Environmental Education, who perform effective work in the development of a responsible environmental ethic in their students and how practicing teachers can contribute to the achievement of this purpose.
