SOLIDARIDAD Y ALTRUISMO: VALORES DE LA JUVENTUD CUBANA

RESUMEN

Ya hace dos años, la pandemia de COVID-19 se propaga por el planeta, en un escenario caracterizado por la desigualdad económica y social entre y dentro de las naciones. El virus no discrimina ni sexos, ideologías o, pero sus efectos son más devastadores entre los sectores poblacionales más vulnerables, los de menos ingresos, en el mundo pobre y subdesarrollado. La Organización de Naciones Unidas ha redoblado sus esfuerzos contra esta pandemia y ha hecho un llamamiento a la solidaridad entre los pueblos. El pueblo cubano, a pesar de las dificultades por las que atraviesa, se ha convertido en un referente de solidaridad para muchos países. Para vencer en esta contienda en nuestro país, las principales herramientas han sido los principios y los valores que nos han inculcado nuestros mártires y héroes. A lo largo de la historia, los jóvenes son, y serán siempre, herederos del pasado, actores del presente y protagonistas del futuro En estos difíciles momentos, los jóvenes cubanos están a la altura de su tiempo; comprometidos y consciente de sus misiones, entienden y asumen su responsabilidad histórica. Las autoras del trabajo persiguen como objetivo profundizar en los valores de la solidaridad y el altruismo, que caracterizan a la juventud cubana contemporánea.

SOLIDARITY AND ALTRUISM: VALUES OF THE CUBAN YOUTH

ABSTRACT

Two years ago, the COVID-19 pandemic has spread across the planet, in a scenario characterized by economic and social inequality between and within nations. The virus does not discriminate between sexes, ideologies or, but its effects are most devastating among the most vulnerable sectors of the population, those with the lowest incomes, in the poor and underdeveloped world. The United Nations Organization has redoubled its efforts against this pandemic and has called for solidarity among peoples. The Cuban people, despite the difficulties they are going through, have become a benchmark of solidarity for many countries. To win this fight in our country, the main tools have been the principles and values ​​that our martyrs and heroes have instilled in us. Throughout history, young people are, and will always be, heirs of the past, actors of the present and protagonists of the future. In these difficult times, young Cubans are at the height of their time; committed and aware of their missions, they understand and assume their historical responsibility. The authors of the work pursue the objective of deepening the values ​​of solidarity and altruism, which characterize contemporary Cuban youth.
