RESUMEN
La presente investigación pretende elaborar un sistema de actividades para fortalecer la identidad local desde las clases de inglés en los alumnos del octavo grado de la secundaria básica, de manera que contribuya a manifestar modelos de actuación acorde con lo exigido en las transformaciones actuales en ese nivel de educación. Para el logro de la pretensión de este se utilizaron métodos generales de las ciencias teóricas, histórico lógico, análisis síntesis, inducción deducción, del nivel empírico, la observación, la entrevista, la encuesta y criterios de usuarios; de esta forma aportaron datos necesarios acerca de la realidad del objeto de estudio de este trabajo.

SYSTEM OF ACTIVITIES TO STRENGTHEN THE LOCAL IDENTITY
ABSTRACT
The present research aims to develop a system of activities to strengthen the local identity from the English classes in the eighth grade students of secondary school; in such a way that it contributes to manifesting models of action in accordance with what is required in the current transformations at that level of Education. To achieve its claim, general methods of theoretical sciences were used, such as logical history, synthesis analysis, induction deduction, from the empirical level, observation, interview, survey and user criteria; in this way they provided necessary data about the reality of the object of study of this work, in the same way the observation, the interview, the survey and users' approaches gave necessary data about the reality of the object of study of this work.
