ANÁLISIS ÉTICO DE LA CONTAMINACIÓN AMBIENTAL EN LAS PETROLERAS DEL ECUADOR

RESUMEN

En este artículo se realizó una investigación acerca del enfoque ético dentro de la contaminación ecológica en las petroleras ecuatorianas, ya que no se tiene una visión clara sobre el impacto que tiene la afectación del crudo de petróleo en las principales zonas ecológicas del país, de la misma manera no se establece un código ético que respalde las malas prácticas profesionales por parte de la industria petrolera. Se desarrolló un estudio sobre la influencia que tiene la ética en la práctica profesional al momento de realizar la extracción y controlar las debidas normas de seguridad ambiental para reducir el impacto ecológico en las zonas de explotación. Se recompiló información acerca de los antecedentes de la industria del crudo en el Ecuador, sus principales retos y sus técnicas de recolección del oro negro. Los aportes que se generaron con esta investigación radican en la concientización por parte de la industria en la práctica ética al momento de realizar la extracción, así mismo generar dentro de los organismos de control estatutos que establezcan sanciones fuertes a quienes incumplan con el código ético y de responsabilidad ambiental al momento de realizar los trabajos respectivos. Implementar una educación de preservación puede ayudar a erradicar en cierta medida los altos niveles de polución en los sitios de extracción así mismo, proteger la vida de varias especies naturales y vegetales propias o endémicas de la zona. Se estableció que el mayor contaminante es el ser humano, esto debido a las medidas desmesuradas por obtener recursos de la tierra y no valorar las especies que habitan en ella.

ETHICAL ANALYSIS OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION IN THE OIL PLANTS OF ECUADOR

ABSTRACT

In this article, an investigation was carried out about the ethical approach within the ecological contamination in the Ecuadorian oil companies, since there is no clear vision about the impact that the impact of crude oil has on the main ecological zones of the country, of the In the same way, an ethical code is not established that supports bad professional practices on the part of the oil industry. A study was developed on the influence that ethics has on professional practice when carrying out the extraction and controlling the proper environmental safety standards to reduce the ecological impact in the exploitation areas. Information was compiled about the background of the oil industry in Ecuador, its main challenges and its techniques for collecting black gold. The contributions that were generated with this research lie in the awareness on the part of the industry in the ethical practice at the time of carrying out the extraction, as well as generating statutes within the control bodies that establish strong sanctions for those who fail to comply with the ethical code and of environmental responsibility at the time of carrying out the respective works. Implementing a preservation education can help to eradicate to some extent the high levels of pollution in the extraction sites, as well as protect the life of several natural and plant species native to or endemic to the area. It was established that the greatest polluter is the human being, this due to the excessive measures to obtain resources from the earth and not value the species that inhabit it.
