ENFRENTAMIENTO A LA PANDEMIA DESDE LA GESTIÓN UNIVERSITARIA EN LA PROVINCIA GRANMA

RESUMEN

Impactados por una terrible pandemia que cobra miles de vidas humanas y afecta el quehacer socioeconómico de múltiples naciones, Cuba se proyecta hacia una concepción integral para su prevención, tratamiento y eliminación; al mismo tiempo continua procesos que permiten dar sostenibilidad al desarrollo económico del país que permitirá a corto plazo minimizar los efectos que en esta esfera genera dicha situación epidémica. El presente trabajo se propone demostrar que las acciones realizadas por la Universidad de Granma en esta etapa de enfrentamiento a la Covid-19, han estado orgánicamente vinculadas con la gestión gubernamental, todas en función de ofrecer una respuesta social, científica, política y sanitaria capaz de enfrentar el desafío que la pandemia ha planteado. El método preferente utilizado es el de investigación/acción. Los resultados muestran el sistema de trabajo utilizado y las principales acciones, valoraciones y aprendizajes que esta experiencia arroja. Se destaca el relevante papel de los cuadros y docentes mediante la puesta en marcha de las modalidades del teletrabajo y el trabajo a distancia, la prontitud en la movilización de los estudiantes y profesores para el desempeño en tareas de impacto, a así como, la efectiva labor de las redes sociales, al convertirse en un vehículo decisivo para el intercambio de información, relacionada con el acontecer de los procesos universitarios, la situación epidemiológica, política y económica internacional, nacional y en particular de la provincia.

CONFRONTING THE PANDEMIC FROM THE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT IN THE GRANMA PROVINCE

SUMMARY

Impacted by a terrible pandemic that claims thousands of human lives and affects the socio-economic activity of multiple nations, Cuba is projecting itself towards a comprehensive concept for its prevention, treatment and elimination; At the same time, it continues processes that allow the economic development of the country to be sustainable, which will allow in the short term to minimize the effects that this epidemic situation generates in this sphere.
The present work aims to demonstrate that the actions carried out by the University of Granma in this stage of confrontation with Covid-19 have been organically linked to government management, all in terms of offering a capable social, scientific, political and health response to face the challenge that the pandemic has posed.
The preferred method used is action research.
The results show the work system used and the main actions, evaluations and learning that this experience yields. The relevant role of cadres and teachers is highlighted through the implementation of telework and distance work modalities, the promptness in the mobilization of students and teachers for the performance in impact tasks, as well as the effective work of social networks, by becoming a decisive vehicle for the exchange of information, related to the events of the university processes, the epidemiological, political and economic situation, international, national and in particular of the province.
