EL APORTE DE LA EXTENSIÓN UNIVERSITARIA EN FUNCIÓN DE LA CULTURA AGRARIA EN CUBA

RESUMEN

Instituciones como las universidades, tratan actualmente el tema de la cultura agraria. Con los años, la modernización fue ganando terreno en territorios rurales, paulatinamente se fueron urbanizando el espacio físico y la conciencia social. Se afectaron los modos de vida, las costumbres, las tradiciones y consecuentemente el sentido de pertenencia hacia el lugar donde se vive. El nuevo siglo ha traído al debate significativos criterios de acuerdo a las problemáticas que tocan de cerca a la sociedad. La perpetuación de las tradiciones agrarias como parte de la identidad familiar, han sido motivo de interés para estudiosos de este tema en las comunidades. Desde una perspectiva global, una estrategia extensionista establecerá la dirección inteligente de las acciones encaminadas a resolver tales problemáticas detectadas en un determinado segmento de la actividad humana. En el siglo XXI, se necesita aprender a identificar y resolver problemas, a utilizar procesos de pensamiento del más alto orden, adaptarse a los cambios vertiginosos de la ciencia, la tecnología, la cultura y la sociedad, donde el espacio destinado a la acumulación del conocimiento debe ser complementado por el pensamiento crítico, la conducta valorativa y la capacidad de planificar, ejecutar y controlar el propio conocimiento. Se debe aprender a respetar códigos éticos, manejar estados afectivos y motivaciones, tanto para superar conflictos como para trabajar bajo presión, desarrollar capacidades de liderazgo, espíritu crítico y creatividad, así como aprender más destrezas. Se debe aprender a enfrentar una realidad cambiante con valores y principios sólidos y criterios claros y flexibles.

ABSTRACT

Institutions such as universities are currently dealing with the issue of agrarian culture. Over the years, modernization was gaining ground in rural territories, gradually the physical space and social consciousness were urbanized. Ways of life, customs, traditions and consequently the sense of belonging to the place where one lives were affected. The new century has brought to the debate significant criteria according to the problems that closely affect society. The perpetuation of agrarian traditions as part of the family identity has been a source of interest for scholars of this subject in the communities. From a global perspective, an extension strategy will establish the intelligent direction of actions aimed at solving such problems detected in a certain segment of human activity. In the 21st century, it is necessary to learn to identify and solve problems, to use thought processes of the highest order, to adapt to the vertiginous changes of science, technology, culture and society, where the space destined for the accumulation of Knowledge must be complemented by critical thinking, evaluative behavior and the ability to plan, execute and control one's own knowledge. You must learn to respect ethical codes, manage affective states and motivations, both to overcome conflicts and to work under pressure, develop leadership skills, critical spirit and creativity, as well as learn more skills. You must learn to face a changing reality with solid values ​​and principles and clear and flexible criteria.
