RESUMEN
La carrera de Lenguas Extranjeras en la Universidad de Guantánamo, como formadora de profesores de inglés es la encargada de ofrecer los elementos pedagógicos, metodológicos y lingüísticos en el proceso de su formación. En consecuencia, la adecuada precisión y organización de las habilidades y su estructura constituyen, en estos momentos, uno de los problemas en el perfeccionamiento de la carrera con la aplicación de los planes de estudios, con vista a lograr una mayor y mejor preparación de los estudiantes de la carrera en las condiciones particulares de la provincia Guantánamo. El artículo refiere las habilidades, acciones y operaciones que se implican en la formación del profesor de lenguas

NECESSARY SKILLS FOR THE DIRECTION OF THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS OF LANGUAGES
ABSTRACT
Foreign languages major in Guantanamo University, as English teacher trainers, is in charge of offering the linguistic, methodological and pedagogical elements in their formative process. Consequently, the adequate organization and selection of the abilities and their structure constitute, in this moment, one of the problems in the perfectioning of the major with the application of the study projects with the aim of achieving a higher and better professional preparation of the students taking into account the particular conditions of our province. The article deals with the abilities, actions and operations that are involved in the formation of language teachers.
