LA RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL UNIVERSITARIA DESDE LAS FUNCIONES SUSTANTIVAS DE LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR, ¿EXISTE SINERGIA ENTRE ESTAS?

Resumen

El futuro de la educación superior con el paso del tiempo, se ha consolidado como una importante tarea desde la cual las universidades procuran aportan en el desarrollo de las regiones, y antes que nada no perder la función social que durante cientos de años han administrado, la cual consiste en ser las precursoras de la generación del conocimiento, la formación de profesionales y concebirse como escenarios multidisciplinares para aportar en la consolidación del conocimiento y la ciencia como garantes de un futuro más justo y equitativo. Así las cosas, este documento se presenta como una revisión bibliográfica con la cual se pretende establecer si la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria tiene sinergia entre las funciones sustantivas de la educación superior y el quehacer mismo de las universidades, en segunda instancia, se estudian algunos comportamientos generales y tendencias que se pueden denotar en el contexto global y latinoamericano desde la investigación, posterior se estudian los prometeros generales con los cuales se desarrolla la proyección social, siendo quizás la función sustantiva que mayor cercanía tiene con la filosofía misma de la Responsabilidad Social Universitaria. Finalmente, se presentan las conclusiones que se generan desde esta revisión bibliográfica con la cual se pretende destacar y establecer si las funciones sustantivas de la educación superior agrupadas desde la docencia, la investigación y la proyección social, tienen sinergia.

UNIVERSITY SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FROM THE SUBSTANTIVE FUNCTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION, IS THERE A SYNERGY BETWEEN THESE?

Abstract

The future of higher education over time has established itself as an important task from which universities seek to contribute to the development of the regions, and first of all not to lose the social function that they have administered for hundreds of years, which consists of being the forerunners of the generation of knowledge, the training of professionals and being conceived as multidisciplinary scenarios to contribute to the consolidation of knowledge and science as guarantors of a fairer and more equitable future. Thus, this document is presented as a bibliographic review with which it is intended to establish if the University Social Responsibility synergy between the functions has substantive of higher education and the very work of universities, in the second instance, some general behaviors are studied and trends that can be denoted in the global and Latin American context from the investigation, later the general promises with which the social projection are developed are studied, being perhaps the substantive function that is closest to the philosophy of University Social Responsibility itself. Finally, the conclusions that are generated from this bibliographic review are presented with which it is intended to highlight and establish whether the substantive functions of higher education grouped from teaching, research and social projection, have synergy.
