RESUMEN:
La educación cubana tiene como una de las líneas priorizada la enseñanza de la Historia por lo que constituye una tarea convertir la clase de esta disciplina en proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de creación con la adecuada motivación hacia los estudiantes y le dejen huellas imperecederas. En la actualidad se reconocen sus potencialidades por constituir un arma de defensa de las tradiciones patrióticas y los valores de cada nación. De ahí que toda vía que se emplee para ello es de vital importancia, por lo que el uso de publicaciones periódicas constituye un desafío en los días actuales, pero a la vez una herramienta que actualiza e informa de manera sistemática a los universitarios, ya sea en soporte digital o en papel.

SUMMARY:
Cuban education has as one of the priority lines the teaching of History, which is why it is a task to turn the class of this discipline into a teaching-learning process of creation with the proper motivation towards the students and to leave undying traces. At present, their potentialities are recognized as a weapon to defend the patriotic traditions and values of each nation. Hence, any route used for this is of vital importance, so the use of periodicals is a challenge in the current days, but at the same time a tool that systematically updates and informs university students, whether in digital or paper support.
