LA QUÍMICA Y LOS NUEVOS MATERIALES EN EL PLAN DE ESTUDIO DE LA LICENCIATURA EN EDUCACIÓN ESPECIALIDAD DE QUÍMICA

Resumen:
En el campo de la química se han logrado importantes resultados y sus aplicaciones en la biotecnología, la agricultura, entre otros, han influido de manera notable en la transformación y desarrollo de la sociedad; sin embargo, el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de esta asignatura presenta múltiples dificultades: contenido ajeno a la realidad química territorial, textos básicos que reflejan a modo muy general solo algunos de los procesos que representan aplicaciones de la química en el país y no existe representatividad de las aplicaciones en el territorio. En Cuba no se han identificado trabajos referidos a la contextualización de la enseñanza de la Química; sin embargo, en la Educación Superior y en la Educación General Media Superior ha sido abordada por especialistas como Addine, R (2006), Tiá, M. L, Torres, V.E y López, P. A. (2015) quienes la utilizan como forma de planificar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de esta ciencia tomando en consideración las necesidades prácticas del contexto donde viven los estudiantes y, como principio de contextualización profesional del proceso. Dada la necesidad de formar un profesional de la Educación Química con un nivel adecuado de actualización que le permita su desempeño y crecimiento profesional con calidad, justifican la propuesta del diseño de la asignatura “La Química y los nuevos materiales” como parte del currículo de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Química.

Abstract:
In the field of the chemistry important results and their applications have been achieved in the biotechnology, the agriculture, among other, they have influenced in a remarkable way in the transformation and development of the society; however, the process of teaching-learning of this subject presents multiple difficulties: content unaware to the territorial chemical reality, basic texts that reflect to alone very general way some of the processes that represent applications of the chemistry in the country and representativeness of the applications doesn't exist in the territory. In Cuba works have not been identified referred to the contextualize of the teaching of the Chemistry; however, in the Superior Education and in the Superior Half General Education it has been approached by specialists as Addine, R (2006), Tiá, M. L, Torres, V.E and López, P. A. (2015) who use it like form of planning the process of teaching-learning of this science taking in consideration the practical necessities of the context where the students live and, like principle of professional contextualize of the process. Given the necessity to form a professional of the Chemical Education with an appropriate level of upgrade that allows him its acting and professional growth with quality, justifies the proposal of the design of the subject "The Chemistry and the new materials" like part of the curriculum of the career Degree in Chemical Education.
