Resumen
Dentro del cumplimiento de los derechos de los pueblos originarios de México, se encuentra el acceso a la educación y sobre todo una educación culturalmente pertinente. En el caso de la educación superior a inicios de siglo XXI, en México se han consolidado distintas instituciones abocadas a la preparación profesional de las poblaciones originarias partiendo desde el enfoque intercultural. Este artículo está centrado en analizar el desarrollo de dicha perspectiva en la Universidad Intercultural de San Luis Potosí (UICSLP) en el plantel de Tancanhuitz, en la huasteca central.

Abstract
Within of fulfillment of the rights of original peoples of Mexico, is found the access to education and especially a culturally appropiate education. In the case of the higher education at the beginning of the 21st century, in Mexico different institutions dedicated to the professional preparation of original peoples have been consolidated starting from the intercultural approach. This article is focused on analyzing the development of this perspective in the Universidad Intercultural de San Luis Potosí at the Tancanhuitz campus, in the central huastec.
