RESUMEN
El presente artículo es parte de la investigación doctoral titulada Cinema Planeta, Festiverd y Patagonia Eco Film Fest: Festivales de cine ambiental y su gestión. Una aproximación desde sus directores realizada por Peña (2021). Se busca comprender desde las voces de los directores de Cinema Planeta, Festiverd y Eco Film Fest, los significados atribuidos a la gestión en los festivales de cine ambiental desde la categoría emergente: Prácticas ambientales en los festivales de cine ambiental. La investigación se desarrolla dentro del Paradigma Cualitativo bajo el Enfoque Fenomenológico Interpretativo. Las prácticas ambientales de los festivales de cine no emergen simultáneamente. Todo lo contrario, aparecen según las necesidades de los festivales de cine ambiental. Se sustentan en una serie de subcategorías: huella de carbono, formato digital, paneles solares, estatuillas, 3R, entre otras. Se resalta una gestión ambiental antropocéntrica centrada en el hombre y la satisfacción de sus necesidades, más que en la propia naturaleza. Al mismo tiempo, destaca como una aplicación de principios ambientales basados en la preocupación y prevención. Apunta a la implementación de tecnologías más amigables con el ambiente. En el proceso se resalta el rol del director en la toma de decisiones gerenciales sustentables. Cada acción cuenta e involucra directamente al festival de cine ambiental. Se pone a prueba la proactividad en la dirección y gestión de un evento. Países como Argentina y México no desperdician la oportunidad de ser parte de este proceso que implica transformación desde la legislación.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES IN ENVIRONMENTAL FILM FESTIVALS
ABSTRACT
This article is part of the doctoral research entitled Cinema Planeta, Festiverd and Patagonia Eco Film Fest: Environmental film festivals and their management. An approach from their directors conducted by Peña (2021). The aim is to understand from the voices of the directors of Cinema Planeta, Festiverd and Eco Film Fest, the meanings attributed to the management of environmental film festivals from the emerging category: Environmental practices in environmental film festivals. The research is developed within the Qualitative Paradigm under the Interpretative Phenomenological Approach. The environmental practices of film festivals do not emerge simultaneously. On the contrary, they appear according to the needs of environmental film festivals. They are supported by a series of subcategories: carbon footprint, digital format, solar panels, statuettes, 3R, among others. It highlights an anthropocentric environmental management focused on man and the satisfaction of his needs, rather than on nature itself. At the same time, it stands out as an application of environmental principles based on concern and prevention. It aims at the implementation of more environmentally friendly technologies. In the process, the role of the director in making sustainable management decisions is highlighted. Every action counts and directly involves the environmental film festival. Proactivity in the direction and management of an event is put to the test. Countries such as Argentina and Mexico do not miss the opportunity to be part of this process that implies transformation from the legislation.
