RESUMEN:
Algunas formas de desigualdad social aguardan análisis académicos más recurrentes, como es el caso de la desigualdad existencial. Poco representada en la literatura especializada en Ciencias Sociales, el examen de esta manifestación de desigualdad resulta pertinente a fin de perfeccionar la comprensión sobre las lógicas que la configuran, especialmente, cuando se reconoce su carácter constitutivo y constituyente de relaciones de poder en el ámbito político. Por ello, el objetivo de este texto es esclarecer algunos caminos analíticos para el examen de la relación entre desigualdad existencial y poder político, apoyado en realidades sociopolíticas a nivel subnacional en Cuba. Basado en una metodología cualitativa y la aplicación de métodos empíricos como el Análisis reflexivo de material bibliográfico, el texto sugiere otras perspectivas analíticas que permitan profundizar en la interdependencia entre estos conceptos/fenómenos y, con ello, complementar ciertos entendimientos sobre dicha interrelación.

THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL REFLECTIONS ABOUT EXISTENTIAL INEQUALITY AND POLITICAL POWER
ABSTRACT:
Some forms of social inequality await more recurrent academic analysis, as is the case of existential inequality. Little represented in the specialized literature in Social Sciences, the examination of this manifestation of inequality is pertinent in order to improve the understanding of the logics that configure it, especially when its constitutive and constituent character of power relations in the political sphere is recognized. For them, the objective of this text is to clarify some analytical paths for examining the relationship between existential inequality and political power, supported by sociopolitical realities at the subnational level in Cuba. Based on a qualitative methodology and the application of empirical methods such as Reflective Analysis of bibliographic material, the text suggests other analytical perspectives that allow us to deepen the interdependence between these concepts / phenomena and, with this, complement certain understandings about said interrelation.
