RESUMEN
La teoría del conocimiento está actualmente desafiada a considerar en sus reflexiones los aportes que se hacen desde otras culturas y saberes al conocimiento. En este artículo se sustenta que el ejercicio filosófico es muy importante en nuestras sociedades actuales, las cuales están pasando por varias crisis: medioambientales, culturales, energéticas y sociales. Metodológicamente se hace un análisis crítico que permitió encontrar que las crisis actuales intentan resolverse a través de la ciencia, la técnica y la tecnología, las cuales hacen parte de los problemas y no de las soluciones. Se concluye que la ciencia y la tecnología en América Latina son parte de una estrategia de dominación que favorece el capital. Y, por tanto, para construir, para morar, para quedar, para permanecer en América Latina, se requiere una descolonización epistemológica y tecnológica, de la construcción de marcos teóricos nuevos, inéditos, que permitan comprender que otro mundo está en marcha

ABSTRACT
The theory of knowledge is currently challenged to consider in its reflections the contributions made to knowledge from other cultures and knowledge. This article argues that the philosophical exercise is very important in our current societies, which are going through several crises: environmental, cultural, energetic and social. Methodologically, a critical analysis is made, which allowed us to find that the current crises try to be solved through science, technique and technology, which are part of the problems and not of the solutions. It is concluded that science and technology in Latin America are part of a strategy of domination that favors capital. And, therefore, in order to build, to dwell, to stay, to remain in Latin America, an epistemological and technological decolonization is required, the construction of new, unpublished theoretical frameworks that allow us to understand that another world is underway.
