LA VIOLENCIA POR MOTIVO DE GÉNERO EN LA RESIDENCIA ESTUDIANTIL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE GUANTÁNMO.

RESUMEN:

El presente trabajo está relacionado con una investigación del tipo mixto a través de  un estudio de caso el cual se  realizó en la Residencia Estudiantil Universitaria de la Universidad de Guantánamo con la finalidad de identificar la existencia de violencia por motivo de género y sus manifestaciones en esta área universitaria para su posterior trabajo preventivo. Se recopiló información por medio de encuesta, entrevistas y la observación participante, se utilizó el SSPS .21 para el procesamiento de los datos recolectados y se aplicó el principio de Pareto para determinar las manifestaciones de mayor frecuencia. Como resultado se obtuvo que, si bien se percibe un buen clima escolar, hay presencia de diversas manifestaciones de violencia por motivo de género  , las cuales tienden a invisibilizar incorporándose como parte de la cultura escolar, limitando la toma de acciones organizativo-estructurales para contrarrestarlas, dentro de ellas : restricciones de relaciones camaraderiles con otros estudiantes en las relaciones de parejas  , uso de la coerción en las relaciones de parejas ,la imposición de la heteronormatividad, el bullying homofóbico y la inexistencia de un lenguaje inclusivo.

THE VIOLENCE FOR GENDER'S MOTIVE AT THE RESIDENCE HALL  OF GUANTÁNAMO'S UNIVERSITY.

ABSTRACT:

The present work is related to a mixt investigation of the type through study of case which came true at the residence hall of Guantánamo's University with the purpose to identify the existence of THE violence for gender's motive and his manifestations in this university area for his later preventive work. Information by means of opinion poll, interviews and the participating observation were compiled, the SSPS. 21utilized for the processing of the recollected data itself and Pareto's beginning to determine the manifestations of bigger frequency was applicable. As a result it was  obtained than, even though a good school climate is  perceived, there is presence of various manifestations of violence for gender's motive, which tend to invisibilizar sitting up as part of the school culture, limiting the educative prevention works within them: restrictions  of mate relationships with another students in couples' relations, use of the coercion in couples' relations, the heteronormativity imposition, the bullying's homophobic and the non-existence of an inclusive language.
