LA PLANIFICACIÓN INSTITUCIONAL DE LA JORNADA ESCOLAR EXTENDIDA EN LA CALIDAD DE LA GESTIÓN ESCOLAR

RESUMEN

El tema abordado en esta investigación se titula: La Planificación Institucional de la Jornada Escolar Extendida en la Calidad de la Gestión en el Liceo Llanos de Pérez del Distrito Educativo 11-03, Puerto Plata, República Dominicana. El objetivo es evaluar la Planificación Institucional de la Jornada Escolar Extendida y sus aportes en la Calidad de la Gestión. Mientras que la problemática consiste en que se ha reportado de manera informal a las autoridades distritales que los centros educativos pertenecientes al Sistema de Jornada Extendida no realizan ninguna planificación para adaptarse a su nueva modalidad, puesto que siguen aplicando sus planificaciones anteriores, sin planificar la extensión del horario, la modificación del calendario escolar, tampoco consideran la ampliación de la permanencia de los estudiantes en los centros, que incluye cambios y necesidades en la logística operativa. La investigación es de tipo descriptiva, con un enfoque cuantitativo.  Se trabajó con el universo del personal docente y equipo de gestión, un universo de 25 (19 docentes y 6 del equipo de gestión). La población objeto de estudio está localizada en el sector Imbert, Puerto Plata en República Dominicana. El estudio concluye de manera general que la calidad se situó en un 2.08 de una escala de 5, lo que indica una calidad muy baja, que coincide con el alto nivel de improvisación existente en el centro, que dificulta seriamente todos los procesos, reduciendo la percepción de calidad y la satisfacción de los estudiantes acerca de la gestión de la jornada escolar extendida.

INSTITUTIONAL PLANNING OF THE SCHOOL DAY EXTENDED IN THE QUALITY OF SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

ABSTRACT

The topic addressed in this research is entitled: The Institutional Planning of the Extended School Day in the Quality of Management in the Llanos de Pérez High School of Educational District 11-03, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The objective is to evaluate the Institutional Planning of the Extended School Day and its contributions in the Management Quality. While the problem is that it has been reported informally to the district authorities that the educational centers belonging to the Extended Day System do not carry out any planning to adapt to their new modality, since they continue to apply their previous plans, without planning the extension of the schedule, the modification of the school calendar, nor do they consider the extension of the permanence of the students in the centers, which includes changes and needs in the operational logistics. The research is descriptive, with a quantitative approach. We worked with the universe of teaching staff and the management team, a universe of 25 (19 teachers and 6 from the management team). The population under study is located in the Imbert sector, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. The study generally concludes that the quality was 2.08 on a scale of 5, which indicates a very low quality, which coincides with the high level of improvisation existing in the center, which seriously hinders all processes, reducing the quality perception and student satisfaction regarding the management of the extended school day.
