INTERVENCIÓN DEL TRABAJADOR SOCIAL LABORAL EN LAS INSTITUCIONES PÚBLICAS DE LA CIUDAD DE PORTOVIEJO

RESUMEN

       La investigación, desde un punto específico de la profesión se planteaba la siguiente pregunta ¿Cómo es el rol del Trabajo Social en las instituciones públicas de la ciudad de Portoviejo?, surgió como necesidad para las autoras de responder hacia dónde va enmarcada laboralmente la profesión, sobre todo por los cambios actuales que la intervención desde la realidad debe responder en razón del contexto, donde se están creando nuevos espacios de intervención para el profesional social que van más allá de las tradicionales, esto ha implicado una revisión del perfil competitivo y de la malla de la carrera para proporcionar a los profesionales herramientas e insumos necesarios que le permitan satisfacer las necesidades y demandas de este nuevo mercado. Se aplicó un estudio mixto de corte cuali – cuantitativo, con la metodología descriptiva que permitió sobre todo a través de los métodos bibliográficos, deductivos, analíticos contrastar la realidad de la profesión con la teoría ya analizada, por eso se aplicó las técnicas de la encuesta, entrevista y recopilación documental, a una población de 13 profesionales de Trabajo Social que laboral en instituciones públicas y privadas del cantón en el área de talento Humano. Se tuvo como resultado de lo realizado en esta área no es diverso a lo que se aplica en las otras, cambia es el contexto donde se desarrolla, los recursos que se tiene y los objetivos particulares que se persigue, por eso es necesario que el profesional desarrolle habilidades y destrezas en el manejo de las herramientas y recursos para la consecución de los resultados esperados y deseados, predomina el trabajo en equipo, la conexión entre el ganar – ganar, y sobre todo la búsqueda de  satisfacción de necesidades a través del respeto e igualdad de derechos y obligaciones.

INTERVENTION OF THE SOCIAL WORKER LABOR IN THE PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS THE CITY OF PORTOVIEJO

SUMMARY

       The research, from a specific point of the profession, posed the following question: What is the role of Social Work in the public institutions of the city of Portoviejo? It arose as a need for the authors to answer where the profession is framed in the workplace, especially due to the current changes that intervention from reality must respond to due to the context, where new spaces of intervention are being created for the social professional that go beyond the traditional ones, this has implied a review of the competitive profile and the career mesh to provide professionals with the tools and supplies necessary to meet the needs and demands of this new market. A mixed quali-quantitative study was applied, with the descriptive methodology that allowed, above all, through bibliographic, deductive, analytical methods, to contrast the reality of the profession with the theory already analyzed, that is why the survey techniques were applied, interview and documentary compilation, to a population of 13 Social Work professionals who work in public and private institutions of the canton in the area of ​​Human talent. The result was that the work carried out in this area is not different from what is applied in the others, the context in which it is developed changes, the resources that are available and the particular objectives that are pursued, that is why it is necessary that the professional develop skills and abilities in the management of tools and resources to achieve the expected and desired results, teamwork predominates, the connection between all the win - win, and above all the search for the satisfaction of needs through respect and equality of rights and obligations.
