daca intampina dificultati in relatiile sociale si cu sexul opus.
Liberal,
dar profund preocupat de problemele sociale, a aparat libertatea sindicala si
cooperativismul. A fost pionierul feminismului si in tinerete a fost arestat
pentru propagarea metodelor de control ale natalitatii.
Discipol
al lui Jeremy Bentham si urmas al lui David
Ricardo, a acordat o atentie speciala temelor metodologice si a avnsat multe
idei adoptate apoi de catre economia bunastarii.
